In the heart of nature, Le Chambon-sur-Lignon offers you a relaxing getaway. Surrounded by mountains filled with springs, green untouched landscapes, footpaths some of which link to the Way of Saint James (Camino de Santiago), and a wealth of natural beauty for walkers and anglers alike.
It is a mosaic of green prairies, volcanic mountains, plateaux, forests, wild gorges and rivers where Mont Mézenc (the highest point of the region) in the south-east area of Auvergne with remarkable flora. It is the ideal setting for outdoor leisure activities throughout the year: hiking, cycling, horse riding, golf (Le Chambon-sur-Lignon), fishing, swimming and water activities on Lake Lavelette 10 km from the hotel, whitewater sports (rafting, canoe, kayak), paragliding, treetop adventure, not to mention the wealth of fauna including mammals, amphibians and birds (buzzards, herons, etc.).
The region is home to an amazing history with religious sites such as Chaise Dieu and Puy-en-Velay, Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe, fortresses in Polignac and Saint-Vidal, the Chavaniac-Lafayette castle, listed villages among the finest in France such as Bresle, Lavaudieu, Arlempdes and Pradelles.
The restaurant is closed from Sunday evening to Monday evening inclusive until the annual closure from 17 November to 31 March.
